The Doctor’s companions have always included smart, strong women; some have been very vocal about aligning themselves with feminism, some not, but they’ve all caught our imaginations (and our hearts). This panel will focus on the variety of ways companions have discussed and aligned themselves with feminist movements and ideologies and what a perceived lack of explicit identification with feminism in more recent episodes of Doctor Who means for the movement.
