Geek before it was chic. | | Growing up in Nebraska in the 80's and watching Doctor Who was sometimes a challenge (thank you PBS). But I wouldn't have had it any other way. Now living in San Francisco, this is my fifth Gallifrey One (I still get all fan boy when I meet people from the program). My goal is to help the newer viewers of DW appreciate what came before 2005.

DEBORAH STANISH is the co-editor of the Hugo nominated Chicks Unravel Time: Women Journey Through Every Season of Doctor Who and Whedonistas: A Celebration of the Worlds of Joss Whedon by the Women Who Love Them. Deborah is the moderator of the Hugo nominated Verity! Podcast, where six women, from around the globe, debate and discuss Doctor Who. She interviews SF/F authors at Uncanny Magazine and on the Uncanny Magazine Podcast.
